Selling abroad with Royal Mail means every parcel needs a goods description, an HS tariff code and a country of origin that customs will accept. Product titles and listing copy are not customs descriptions.
Customs data per product, kept separate from your listing. Set the customs description (up to 50 characters), an extended description (up to 300), the HS code and the country of origin on each product, with per-variant overrides. Edit them in a bulk table or by CSV export and import. Fallback rules by product type cover the gaps. The values are stored in your own store as product metafields. The app only sends what you set and never uses your product description.
Every paid order arrives. Orders are sent to Click & Drop when Shopify marks them paid. Every 10 minutes the app also re-checks the last 7 days, so an order that missed its notification still arrives. The sync log shows each order's status and Click & Drop's exact error text, and has a one-click Retry. Held and failed orders are retried automatically for 30 days. Re-sending is safe: an order already in Click & Drop is linked, never duplicated.
The right delivery terms for each destination. Set terms for the EU, the USA and the rest of the world (DDU/DAP, DDP, or IOSS). IOSS is applied automatically to EU parcels up to EUR 150 when you add your IOSS number.
Pre-flight warnings. "3 products have no HS code" before the order is placed, not after Royal Mail returns the parcel. International orders with no customs description are held, with a reason, rather than sent with the wrong text.
Tracking back to Shopify. When you despatch in Click & Drop, the app fulfils the order in Shopify with the Royal Mail tracking number and link, and Shopify emails your customer if you choose.
Weights and packages. Item weights come from Shopify, plus packaging weight and package-format rules by weight.
Works with ordinary pay-as-you-go and Online Business Account Click & Drop accounts through Royal Mail's public Click & Drop API. You need your own Click & Drop account. This app is not made by Royal Mail.
