SCons Support: End User Licence Agreement

This agreement is between you and Brisa Works (Spain) ("we") for the CLion plugin "SCons Support" (the "Plugin"). Paid plans are sold through JetBrains Marketplace; JetBrains' Marketplace terms and its customer agreement govern billing, taxes, invoices, trials and refunds, and prevail over this agreement on those points.

  1. Licence. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to install and use the Plugin. The free features may be used by anyone without charge. The paid features may be used by the number of users covered by your JetBrains Marketplace subscription, for its period (including JetBrains' perpetual fallback licence where JetBrains grants one).
  2. Free and paid features. The Plugin page lists which features are free and which are paid. We will not move a feature you paid for out of your plan during a paid period. Free features may change.
  3. Restrictions. Do not remove or work around the licence check, resell or sublicense the Plugin, or redistribute modified copies. The published source, if any, is provided for transparency and bug reports; it is not licensed for redistribution.
  4. Third-party software. The Plugin bundles no third-party software. It runs software you install yourself, under its own licence: SCons (MIT licence), your compilers and debugger, and Godot if you use the Godot launcher. "SCons" is the name of the SCons Foundation's project and "Godot" a trademark of the Godot Foundation; the Plugin is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SCons Foundation, the Godot Foundation or JetBrains.
  5. Your data. The Plugin runs on your machine and sends nothing to us or anyone else. It runs your SCons on your project, writes compile_commands.json in the project root and its working files in .scons-support/, and adds a short compiledb snippet to your SConstruct only when you click the action that does so.
  6. Your responsibility for builds and runs. Build, clean, run and debug actions execute your project's SCons build, your programs and Godot with the arguments you set. You are responsible for what they do; "Clean" deletes what your SCons build defines as its outputs.
  7. Updates and third-party platforms. The Plugin depends on CLion APIs, CLion's Compilation Database and native debugger plugins, and SCons, which we do not control. If a change there makes a paid feature impossible, we may change or withdraw it; for a paid feature withdrawn mid-period, the unused part is refunded through JetBrains Marketplace.
  8. Warranty. The Plugin is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits consumers' statutory rights under Spanish and EU law, including conformity rights for digital content (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007).
  9. Liability. For business customers, our total liability is limited to the amounts paid for the Plugin in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect loss, lost data or changes made by builds or programs you run. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence.
  10. Discontinuation. If we retire the Plugin we give at least 30 days' notice on its Marketplace page and refund any prepaid unused period through JetBrains Marketplace.
  11. Changes. We announce material changes to this agreement 30 days in advance in the Plugin's change notes.
  12. Law. Spanish law; consumers keep the protection of the law and courts of their country of residence.
