Gantt for Sheets

Turn the task list you already keep in Google Sheets™ into a Gantt chart that respects dependencies, shows what is late against the original plan, and exports to a PDF you can send to a client.

Works with your sheet as it is. The add-on finds your Task, Start, End or Duration, Depends on, % done and Owner columns by their headers (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian names), even below a title row. If it is unsure it asks, with a preview of each column. No sheet yet? Insert a sample plan and edit it.

Real dependencies. Write them the way project tools do: 3 (row 3 first, or ID 3 when you have an ID column), T4 (by task ID), 3FS+2 (two working days after row 3 finishes), 2SS, 4FF-1, 5SF. A task can wait for several others (3, 5; T7SS) and one task can feed as many dependents as you like. Start dates are scheduled for you and written back to the sheet. Circular links are named row by row so you can fix them.

A Gantt tab you can share and print. One click draws a "Gantt – " tab with bars, progress, weekends and a today line, scaled to days, weeks or months. It is a normal sheet: share it, print it, comment on it.

An interactive chart. Open the chart window to see links as arrows between the bars. With Pro, the critical path shows in red, and you can drag a bar to move a task or drag its end to change its length; the change is written straight to your sheet.

PDF export. A4 or Letter, landscape, paginated, with your logo (Pro). Created in your browser: your plan is not uploaded anywhere.

Built not to hang. Every window shows what it is doing, gives a clear message if something fails, and offers Retry. Nothing waits forever on "working".

Price, stated up front. Free: up to 25 tasks, every dependency type, the Gantt tab, the chart window and PDF export with a watermark. Pro (USD 6 a month or USD 49 a year): unlimited tasks, drag to reschedule, critical path and slack, baselines with variance columns, custom work weeks and holidays, clean PDFs with your logo.

Privacy. The add-on can open only the spreadsheet you use it in (spreadsheets.currentonly). Your plan never leaves Google; the only thing sent out is your email address, to check whether you have Pro.
