Coming soon to the Google Workspace Marketplace Help · Upgrade to Pro

Tasks you add in Gmail™, Google Calendar™ or on your phone appear in your Notion task database. Tick them off in either place and they are ticked off in the other.

Price, stated up front. Free: one Google Tasks™ list with one Notion database, synced every hour. Pro (USD 4 a month or USD 36 a year, 14-day refund): every list, several lists in one database, and a "Sync now" button. No trial that turns into a charge, and nothing is paid inside the add-on without you choosing to upgrade.

Set up in three steps.

  1. Connect Notion and tick the database you plan in (or a page where we create a ready-made task database).
  2. Pick the database. We add the columns we need (Done, Due, Notes, Google Task ID, Google Task link) and leave yours alone. A Status column works too: its "Complete" options mean done.
  3. Pick the Google Tasks list and press Start.

What syncs. Title, done, due date and notes, both ways. Each Notion page links to its task, and each task's notes end with a link to its Notion page (you can turn that off).

When both sides change. Each field is merged on its own: if only one side changed a field, that change wins. If both changed the same field between two syncs, the due date and done state follow Google Tasks and the title and notes follow Notion. Every such case appears in the log.

Deleting. Deleting a task moves its Notion page to Notion's trash (restore it from there). Moving a page to the trash in Notion stops syncing that task, or deletes it if you turn on that option.

You can see what it did. The panel shows the last sync and the last 100 changes, and every error comes with the fix.

Limits. Google Tasks has no repeating tasks or start times in its API, so those don't sync. Tasks completed more than 30 days ago are not imported. Subtasks sync as ordinary tasks (subtask links in Notion come in v1.1). Up to about 3,500 open tasks across your synced lists; a first import of thousands of tasks takes a few hours.

Privacy. The sync runs inside your own Google account (Apps Script). Your tasks go only to the Notion workspace you connect, and nothing is stored on our servers except your licence status. Privacy policy: https://brisaworks.com/privacy.
